The Thai Cannabis Industry Association (in formation) is being established to become the combined industry driver in this new and fast evolving sector. the ThaiCanIA is initiated by key stakeholders in the Cannabis sector and invited all segments to join the Association.

CanIAT is being established as the center of the industries that represent the entire group of stakeholder that will emerge in the market. Its key mission is to unite the stakeholders and ensure the industry development to produce the highest standards of Cannabis related products.

DATES WERE MOVED TO DEC 3, 2019



After the successful Invest Cannabis Asia held last January 31, 2019, we are pleased to announce the dates of our second supported event, the Thai Cannabis Investment Forum. based on the outcome the the previous conference, which was attended by 230 participants, we are currently developing a new conference program based on the current and upcoming regulatory framework.


Our intention is the help Thailand to develop into an International R&D center with collaborations between International and local Academic institutions and companies by creating a local Eco-system.


Sessions include specific panels:

  1. Legal outlook, Thai and international
  2. Medical Research Opportunities
  3. Sustainability through small farm engagement
  4. Finance, funding and pitfalls in a hyper-active market



Incorporating: Thailand Cannabis Dialog

TCIA will host the Thai Medical community for a dialog with leading scientist Dedi Meiri in a closed door, on-invitation only event. This forum is for representatives of the various Thai Medical Associations to understand the potential of cannabis research and an outlook towards promising pipeline results.




The event

The conference will have the same format as the January conference: One full day of sessions followed by a social networking event. Sessions will be short presentations as well as Panel Sessions.



Takeaway

Delegates shall be updated on the current structures in place and receive an overview of the fast evolving marketing in the region which are likely to follow Thailand's trends. In addition, the focus shall be on infrastructure and medical approaches in the industry.
